South Africa Springboks unveil anthem‑printed jersey for All Blacks tour

Nike and SA Rugby unveiled a limited‑edition Springbok jersey that features the lyrics of South Africa’s national anthem printed in the shape of the flag and displayed in the five official languages. The jersey will be worn exclusively during the four‑test Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series against New Zealand’s All Blacks, the first such series in 30 years, with the opening match at Ellis Park on 22 August 2026.

The jersey goes on sale on 6 August 2026 at Nike stores, the SA Rugby online shop and at Springbok retail outlets in Sandton, Menlyn Park and Canal Walk, as well as selected sports retailers across the country. SA Rugby CEO Rian Oberholzer said the design “speaks directly and honestly to the motivation of the team and management – they play for the people of South Africa and wear their hearts on their sleeve.”
