South Africa: Three arrested after brutal farm torture and robbery

Three suspects have been arrested following a violent farm attack in the Cullinan area of South Africa. The suspects were detained by the private security group ECHO-1 Tactical Solutions after tactical units tracked a vehicle linked to a criminal group.

During the operation, security members located a victim who had been hog-tied on a bed and subjected to an hour of torture, including being beaten and stabbed. The victim suffered severe lacerations, bruises, and facial injuries. While three suspects were handed over to the South African police and stolen property was recovered, one suspect remains at large after stealing the victim’s pickup truck.

Jacques Broodryk, spokesperson for AfriForum Community Safety, confirmed that a case of house robbery has been opened following the incident.
