South Africa wins ODI series against Namibia
South Africa secured a 2-0 lead in their three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Namibia after a 157-run victory in the second match at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek.
Connor Esterhuizen scored his maiden international century, hitting 119 runs off 110 balls, including eight fours and six sixes. He shared a 183-run second-wicket partnership with Tony de Zorzi, who contributed 79 runs, helping South Africa reach a total of 335/9.
In response, Namibia struggled against the South African bowling attack. Duan Jansen took 4/31 and Eathan Bosch took 3/27, leading to Namibia being bowled out for 178 in 41.5 overs. Despite a 71-run partnership between Gerhard Erasmus and Jan Bait, Namibia could not recover from an early collapse that saw them slump to 32-5.
