South African farmer Leon Lotz recounts violent farm attack

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, South African farmer Leon Lotz recounted a violent 2010 attack on his family's farm. Lotz stated that armed assailants shot his father-in-law dead, severely beat his mother-in-law, and raped his wife in front of their children.

Lotz expressed significant distrust in the South African justice system and police, alleging that reporting such crimes often leads to the victims being investigated for assault rather than the perpetrators being prosecuted. He further claimed that murder investigations are frequently neglected and that official statistics regarding violence against white farmers are unreliable due to falsified death certificates.

During the interview, Lotz also addressed political tensions in the country, linking the violence to rhetoric used by political figures and expressing concerns regarding the African National Congress (ANC) and property rights.
