South African Football Association elects new Vice Presidents

The South African Football Association (SAFA) National Executive Committee (NEC) held an ordinary meeting in Sandton, Johannesburg, to elect new Vice Presidents. The election, conducted via an open ballot to ensure transparency, resulted in the appointment of Anastasia Tsichlas, Linda Zwane, and Tankiso Modipa to serve four-year terms.

SAFA President Dr. Danny Jordaan noted that this was the first meeting of the new NEC following the Elective Congress held in Midrand in September 2026. The newly elected Vice Presidents will collaborate with CEO Lydia Monyepao to develop 'Vision 2030,' a strategic plan focusing on school football, development, national team excellence, and coaching education.
