South African lottery jackpots roll over after recent draws

South African lottery draws for Powerball and Lotto games have resulted in multiple jackpots rolling over.

The Powerball draw on September 15, 2026, saw no jackpot winner for the R43 million top prize, leading to a rollover. The Powerball XTRA jackpot of R10 million also rolled over.

Following this, the Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, and Lotto 5 Max draws on September 16, 2026, also failed to produce top-tier winners. The main Lotto jackpot is set to roll over to R8.71 million. Combined, the rollover amounts for the Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, and Lotto 5 Max reach approximately R12.84 million.

Sizekhaya Holdings manages the National Lottery, and winners are advised to claim prizes within 365 days of the draw.
