South African singer Tyla promotes A*POP album on Feeding Starving Celebrities

South African artist Tyla appeared on the YouTube series Feeding Starving Celebrities, where she prepared the traditional dessert malva pudding and mixed cocktails alongside host Quenlin Blackwell. During the episode she highlighted her sophomore album A*POP, released on 24 July 2026, and discussed its blend of African, R&B, pop and house influences.

Tyla also revisited her FIFA World Cup 2026 collaboration with American rapper Future on the track “Game Time,” describing how the two met at the Met Gala and confirming that the partnership was purely professional. She dismissed online rumors of a romance with Future, stating, “I’m a working woman.” The singer further shared her cautious view of artificial‑intelligence‑generated music, suggesting it could increase the value of “real” music.

The episode offered fans a casual look at Tyla’s life beyond the studio, combining cooking, conversation and promotion of her latest musical project.
