South African URC Round 3 features Stormers-Sharks and Bulls-Lions derbies

Round 3 of the United Rugby Championship (URC) features major South African derbies this weekend. In Cape Town, the Stormers host the Sharks at Cape Town Stadium. The Stormers will debut a new black away kit, a throwback to their 1999 campaign, and the event is being promoted as a cultural celebration featuring local food, music, and performances from groups such as the Ikamva Marimba Band and the 7 Steps Minstrels.

In Pretoria, the Bulls face the Lions at Loftus Versfeld. The Bulls are looking to recover from a recent narrow loss to Munster and are expected to welcome back several Springboks, including Handre Pollard and Gerhard Steenekamp. The Lions enter the match following a victory over the Ospreys and aim to maintain their momentum during their away fixture.
