South American rock celebrates major musical milestones

In Argentina, the band Rey Garufa y sus Timadores will perform at Arena Sur on October 16 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the influential album ‘Oktubre’ by Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota. Marking their own 17th anniversary, the group is also transitioning into a new creative phase by developing original material.

In Peru, the classic album ‘Póntelo en la Lengua’ by Pedro Suárez-Vértiz is being commemorated 30 years after its 1996 release. The milestone includes a special collector's edition on vinyl and the progressive release of official visualizers for all 14 tracks, with the release order determined by fans.
