South Australia to host 2027 women's Australian Open
The 2027 women's Australian Open is confirmed to return to South Australia, with the tournament scheduled to take place at Royal Adelaide in mid-March. The event is co-sanctioned by the WPGA Tour of Australasia and the Ladies European Tour.
The tournament is part of a multi-year partnership between Golf Australia, the South Australian Government, and the South Australian Tourism Commission. This agreement ensures that the state will host at least six more men's and women's Australian Opens. The 2027 event will be integrated into Adelaide's ‘March Madness’ sporting calendar, which includes events such as the AFL Gather Round and the Adelaide Festival.
