South Carolina autumn events scheduled for late 2026

South Carolina will host several community events in late 2026, including the state's major autumn fairs and a local street festival.

The South Carolina State Fair is scheduled to run from October 15 to October 25, 2026, at the State Fairgrounds in Columbia. The Coastal Carolina Fair will follow from October 29 to November 8, 2026, at Exchange Park in Ladson. Both fairs implement a clear bag policy and prohibit weapons. The State Fair, a nonprofit that provides scholarships, requires minors to be accompanied by an adult over 21 during specific evening and weekend hours.

In West Columbia, the 10th Annual Fall Back Fest will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026. Held along State Street from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the free event features live music, street murals, and an artisan market. Performers include the Dylan Hayes Band, Brooks Herring, and Rutland.
