South Carolina mother arrested for child trafficking and neglect
Helena Nichole Hoyle, 27, was arrested in South Carolina and charged with two counts of human trafficking and two counts of child neglect. Authorities allege that Hoyle allowed multiple men to sexually abuse her two daughters, aged 4 and 7, in exchange for money and drugs.
According to arrest affidavits, the children reported repeated sexual assaults by various men. Investigators noted that while the 4-year-old could not provide the same level of detail as her older sister, she corroborated significant portions of the account. In one instance, Hoyle was allegedly present during an assault, sitting on the floor using TikTok on her phone.
The children also reported severe neglect within the home. Allegations include a lack of running water, no bathroom facilities, and unsanitary living conditions that forced the children to use a bucket for waste. Hoyle was booked into the Berkeley County Jail with a $250,000 bond.
