South Carolina GOP holds special Senate primary to replace Lindsey Graham

Darline Graham has received an endorsement from Donald Trump and support from the National Republican Senatorial Committee, though some voters have expressed doubts regarding her political experience. Other notable contenders include Representatives Russell Fry and Ralph Norman, as well as former Governor Mark Sanford.

Polling shows a competitive race, with various candidates leading depending on the survey. Due to the number of candidates, a runoff election is expected to take place on August 25 if no candidate secures a majority in the initial primary on August 11.
