Global Halloween weather forecasts predict rain and storms
Weather forecasts for Halloween weekend indicate a significant divide in conditions across various regions. Much of the eastern United States and parts of the Northeast are expected to experience relatively dry or pleasant conditions, though some areas may see cooler temperatures.
In contrast, several regions face unsettled weather. The South and Gulf Coast are threatened by scattered showers and thunderstorms. The Southwest and Southern California are bracing for heavier rainfall, with potential flash flooding and mountain snow in higher elevations. Parts of the Midwest and Nebraska are also anticipating wind and rain.
International forecasts show similar variability. In Chile, an unstable frontal system may bring thunderstorms and hail to central and south-central regions. In Colombia, Bogotá expects increasing cloudiness and intermittent drizzle, while other regions face heavier rainfall. In New Orleans, meteorologists predict a 40 to 50 percent chance of rain, though it is not expected to be a total washout.
