South Florida football secures first 3-0 start since 2018

The South Florida Bulls defeated Delaware State 59-17 at Raymond James Stadium, marking the program's first 3-0 start since 2018. The victory extended the Bulls' home winning streak to nine games.

South Florida's offense produced 611 total yards, tied for the 11th-best performance in program history. The team recorded seven rushing touchdowns, led by D. J. Crowther, who rushed for 101 yards and three scores. Quarterback Michael Van Buren completed 23 of 32 passes for 300 yards and one touchdown.

After Delaware State narrowed the score to 21-17 in the first half, South Florida responded with 38 unanswered points, including a 31-0 shutout in the second half. Delaware State's scoring included a 90-yard touchdown reception by Nathan Stewart.
