South Florida pizza brands expand with new locations

Several pizza brands are expanding their presence in South Florida. Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza has announced plans for a new location in Coconut Creek at 4437 Lyons Road. Founded in Miami Beach in 2014 by chef Renato Viola and Umberto Mascagni, the brand is known for its star-shaped pizzas featuring ricotta cheese in the crust points.

In Coconut Grove, Miami Slice has opened a larger fourth location in the historic Engle Building. Unlike its original small storefront in downtown Miami, this new site offers expanded seating, including booths and a bar, while maintaining a first-come, first-served service model. The establishment features New York-style slices alongside wood-fired dishes and a selection of beer and wine.
