South Florida prepares for various Halloween celebrations

South Florida is hosting a variety of Halloween events ranging from family-friendly festivals to large-scale block parties.

In Wilton Manors, the ‘Wicked Drive’ block party is expected to draw over 40,000 people. The event, themed ‘Masquerade of Mayhem,’ will close Wilton Drive from Five Points to 20th Street. The celebration includes a kids’ costume contest before transitioning into an adult-oriented environment.

In Wynwood, the 13th annual ‘HalloWYN’ will take place at Wynwood Marketplace. The event features live DJs, food trucks, and costume contests across a 30,000-square-foot space.

Other regional activities include a free trick-or-treating and costume contest at Galleria Fort Lauderdale on October 29, and a ‘Creepy Carnival Clowns’ celebration at Gulfstream Park Village on October 24. Additionally, Kiki on the River is hosting a pumpkin carving event on October 26.
