South Indian Television and OTT Producers Association launched

The South Indian Television and OTT Producers Association has been established to unify the television and digital entertainment sectors across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. The new organization was inaugurated by actress Radhika Sarathkumar, who serves as the honorary president of the Tamil Nadu Television Producers Association.

The association aims to address long-standing industry issues, including regulating artists' call sheets and working hours, protecting producer investments, and strengthening unity between the television and digital sectors. It is intended to act as a bridge between actors, technicians, and production companies to ensure transparent and regulated production processes across state borders.

The executive committee will be led by President Prasad from the Telugu television industry. Vice Presidents include Udaya Shankar (Tamil Nadu), Arvind (Kannada), and Jayakumar (Kerala), with Rajavelu serving as General Secretary. The organization seeks to protect producer interests and ensure sustainable growth within the South Indian media landscape.
