South Island Primary Care Society celebrates physician recruitment
The South Island Primary Care Society (SIPCS) has successfully recruited 52 physicians to South Vancouver Island over the past 30 months. To celebrate this milestone and support greater access to primary care, the society will host a “Movie Under the Stars” event at Starlight Stadium in Langford on Friday, September 4.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., the event will feature a red carpet experience, live magic by Jason Verners, a kids zone, and an outdoor screening of the animated film “GOAT”. SIPCS Executive Director Alyssa Andres stated that the organization remains committed to ensuring community members have access to necessary healthcare and noted that the success of their model proves its viability for future expansion.
