South Kalimantan Police Seize 128 kg of Methamphetamine
The South Kalimantan provincial government praised the provincial police for confiscating 128.7 kg of methamphetamine in an operation conducted from 8 to 12 June 2026. The drugs were seized from five suspected members of a cross‑province trafficking network tied to international syndicates. Authorities estimated the seized narcotics’ value at over Rp 231 billion. Governor H. Muhidin, represented by Senior Staff Adi Santoso, highlighted the seizure as evidence of police commitment to protect the community, especially youth, from drug abuse and called for continued coordination among law‑enforcement agencies, local officials, religious leaders, and the public to combat drug trafficking.
