South Korea announces national volleyball and basketball rosters for 2026 Asian Games

South Korea has finalized the rosters for its national volleyball and basketball teams ahead of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

The women's volleyball team has selected 12 players, with Kang So-hwi appointed as captain. The squad includes setters Kim Da-in and Lee Su-yeon, libero Han Da-hye, and middle blockers Lee Da-hyeon, Jeong Ho-young, and Park Eun-jin. South Korea is placed in Group D alongside Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Qatar.

The men's basketball team will utilize a modified roster strategy. Due to Choi Jun-yong's overseas schedule, the team will compete in the group stages with 11 players, with Choi expected to join the squad starting from the quarterfinals. The roster features Lee Hyun-jung and Lee Jeong-hyeon as primary scoring options, alongside Yeo Jun-seok. The team aims to secure its first gold medal at the Asian Games since 2014.
