Seoul to host major performing arts festivals in September
Seoul will host several major performing arts festivals throughout September. The ‘2026 Seoul Autumn Festa’, organized by the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, will run for 73 days, featuring 245 works across 117 theaters and various local cultural foundations.
Key programs include ‘Quad, Questions of Theater: Evolving Texts’, which explores the essence of theater in the age of AI, and the ‘Seoul Street Arts Festival 2026’ in Ttukseom. The festival will conclude with an opening performance at Ttukseom Hangang Park on September 18.
Additionally, the 8th Autumn Chamber Music Festival, managed by Mok Production, will take place from September 4 to 15. Performances will be held at venues including the Seoul Arts Center, the Korea Furniture Museum, and the COEX Starfield Library, featuring various international and domestic musicians.
