South Korea expands multi-entry visa options for Vietnamese citizens
South Korea is expanding access to multi-entry visas for Vietnamese citizens, offering options with validity of up to 10 years. Under this policy, holders can stay for a maximum of 90 days per entry.
Eligibility is not automatic and depends on specific criteria. One notable group includes residents of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang who have held permanent residency in these metropolitan areas for over one year. Applicants in this category may apply for a Metropolitan Visa.
Other eligible groups include: • Professionals such as doctors, lawyers, accountants, and university professors. • Individuals with a four-year degree from a South Korean university or a master's degree from an overseas institution. • High-ranking government officials, including department heads at the central level and current National Assembly members. • Individuals who have traveled to OECD member countries within the past year. • Representatives of foreign-invested enterprises.
