South Korea holds contest for ‘Everyone’s AI’ brand and slogan

South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT has launched a public contest to select the brand name and slogan for its upcoming ‘Everyone’s AI’ service. The initiative aims to increase public engagement and participation ahead of the service’s official launch scheduled for later this year.

Participants, who must be South Korean citizens, can submit one entry consisting of a brand name (up to five characters) and a slogan (up to 20 characters), along with a brief explanation of the intent. Submissions are open from October 26 to November 6 via an online portal. Winners will be announced on November 16, with a total prize pool of 5.5 million won distributed among six selected entries.

‘Everyone’s AI’ is a government-led project designed to provide citizens with easy, subscription-free access to various AI services, including general-purpose chatbots, AI agents for public services, and specialized sector services, all based on domestic AI models. On August 28, the Ministry selected three consortia—SK Telecom, Kakao, and KT—as the project operators. The service is currently undergoing beta testing with industry stakeholders.
