South Korea hosts arts job fair and youth festivals
South Korea is hosting several events focused on supporting young artists and fostering cultural engagement. The 2026 Arts Job Fair, organized by the Korea Artist Welfare Foundation and the Arts Management Support Center, will take place on September 9–10 at the Hongik University Daehak-ro Art Center. The fair emphasizes collaboration between artists and various industries, featuring 25 participating companies for 1:1 consultations. To encourage actual employment and partnerships, the organizers will provide 500,000 won in matching support funds to 10 successful teams.
Additionally, the 2026 Nam-gu Youth Arts Festival is underway, featuring 104 young artists and seven youth art teams. The festival includes the 'Art Connect' exhibition at the Daedeok Cultural Center, showcasing diverse works from students at Keimyung, Dongseo, and Pusan National Universities through September 18.
