South Korea hosts ESG and Green Transformation expo
The Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI) have launched the 2026 Korea ESG Eco-Friendly Expo in Seoul. The three-day event focuses on the ‘K-GX’ (Korea Green Transformation) initiative, showcasing technologies and services aimed at decarbonization, carbon neutrality, and ESG management.
The exhibition features 234 companies across five specialized halls, including sections for renewable energy, carbon reduction solutions, ESG disclosure platforms, and resource circulation. A significant emphasis is placed on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to drive green innovation, featuring an AI special pavilion and demonstrations of AI-driven robotics for battery recycling and automated ESG data management.
Parallel to the exhibition, the 8th Sustainable Corporate Innovation Forum is addressing how AI-driven transformation (AX) can complete the value of green transformation (GX). Experts and industry leaders are discussing strategies for industrial competitiveness, legal frameworks for the green ecosystem, and manufacturing innovations to ensure South Korean companies can lead in the global green market.
