South Korea hosts Global Bio Conference and industry showcases

The South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety is hosting the 12th Global Bio Conference (GBC) in Seoul. The event focuses on the theme ‘Bio Leap, Accelerating Innovation’ and brings together approximately 5,000 experts from regulatory agencies, the pharmaceutical industry, and academia to discuss biopharmaceutical technologies, industry trends, and regulatory policies.

Key discussion topics include the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in drug development, advanced biopharmaceuticals, and the stability of global biopharmaceutical supply chains. The conference features specialized forums on vaccines, recombinant drugs, and regulatory science innovation to enhance South Korea’s global competitiveness in the bio sector.

In conjunction with major industry activities, BioSolution is participating in CPHI Korea 2026, operating a joint booth with Merck Life Science. The collaboration showcases animal alternative testing solutions, combining BioSolution’s 3D human tissue models, such as KeraSkin™, with Merck’s advanced research and analysis equipment to provide integrated testing protocols for drug and cosmetic development.
