South Korea hosts international agricultural machinery and food expos

South Korea is hosting major agricultural exhibitions to promote domestic machinery and food products to global markets. In Daegu, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs is organizing an export consultation session in conjunction with the International Agricultural Machinery and Materials Expo. The event features 25 companies from 14 countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Australia, and Denmark, aiming to facilitate approximately 400 one-on-one consultations.

Additionally, the 14th Jinju International Agriculture and Food Expo has opened in Jinju. The exhibition includes 273 companies from 17 countries, showcasing smart agricultural machinery, automation systems, and various agricultural food products. The event also features specialized exhibits on seed life and local food products.

To support expansion into Southeast Asian markets, a briefing session for the Philippine Agricultural Machinery Institute (PhilMech) is being held to assist Korean companies in navigating Philippine certification and procurement processes.
