South Korea poll shows disapproval of real‑estate and stock policies

A poll commissioned by Cookie News and conducted by HanGil Research surveyed 1,000 South Korean adults aged 18 and over from Jan. 1‑3. 57.6% said the government’s real‑estate policy was “wrong,” while 54.2% judged the stock‑market policy similarly.

Negative views were strongest among people in their 30s, with 70.4% disapproving of real‑estate measures and 69.3% of stock‑market actions. Regional opposition peaked in Daegu‑Gyeongbuk (70% negative) and was lower in the Honam region, where positive assessments outnumbered negatives. Among political supporters, non‑affiliated voters expressed the highest disapproval (68.5%), while supporters of the ruling People Power Party showed 86.5% negative sentiment on real‑estate policy.
