South Korea reports multiple house fires and agricultural accidents

Several accidents involving fires and machinery have been reported across South Korea. In Gyeongsangbuk-do, a house fire occurred in Yeongcheon due to the suspected careless handling of a portable gas burner, resulting in the destruction of a sandwich panel house and property damage estimated at 15 million won. No injuries were reported in the fire.

In Yeongyang, an elderly couple in their 80s sustained serious injuries when their cultivator fell 5 meters into a rice paddy on an uphill road. The male driver was airlifted via doctor helicopter with head injuries, while his wife suffered fractures to her wrist and pelvis.

In Seoul, a fire broke out on the fifth floor of a multi-unit residential building in Gwangjin-gu. The blaze, which originated near an induction cooktop, damaged household items before being extinguished by fire authorities. No casualties were reported in the Seoul incident.
