South Korea weather: East Coast rain and heatwaves continue

Rain is expected along the East Coast of South Korea, with precipitation expanding to the Gyeongbuk East Coast and northeastern mountainous areas. Over a three-day period from the 12th to the 14th, expected rainfall amounts range between 20mm and 60mm.

Despite the rain, high temperatures and heatwaves will persist. The Seoul metropolitan area, Chungnam region, and southern provinces are expected to experience high heat, with perceived temperatures reaching approximately 33 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures are forecasted to range between 25 and 33 degrees Celsius.
