South Korea weather: Heavy rain and heat expected
Heavy rain is expected across most of South Korea on August 31 due to a stationary front. The central region, including Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam, is forecasted to receive significant precipitation, with some areas in the Chungnam west coast potentially seeing over 250mm.
While rain is widespread, the southern regions and Jeju Island will experience high humidity and heat, with maximum perceived temperatures reaching around 33 degrees Celsius. In the central regions, rainfall is expected to continue until the morning of September 1.
