South Korea weather: Large temperature swings and strong coastal winds
South Korea is experiencing significant temperature fluctuations, with daytime highs reaching up to 29 degrees Celsius and morning lows dropping to 11 degrees Celsius. This creates a daily temperature gap of 10 to 15 degrees, particularly in inland areas.
Strong winds and high waves are expected, especially around the Jeju coast and the East Sea, where waves may reach heights of 4 to 5 meters. Residents in coastal areas are advised to exercise caution regarding high swells and potential safety accidents. Additionally, dry conditions in Seoul and western Gyeonggi provinces have prompted warnings for fire prevention.
