South Korea weather: Wide temperature swings and coastal wind warnings
South Korea is expected to experience mostly clear skies across much of the country, though significant weather variations are forecast. Temperatures are expected to fluctuate widely, with daily temperature differences reaching approximately 15 degrees Celsius in inland areas of the central and Gyeongsang provinces.
Rain is anticipated in several regions, including the Gangwon East Coast, mountainous areas, and parts of the Gyeongsang and Jeju regions. High winds and strong swells are also expected, particularly along the southern and eastern coasts, prompting warnings for coastal residents to exercise caution against high waves and strong gusts.
Morning fog is forecasted for inland Gangwon and Jeonnam, which may reduce visibility to below 200 meters. Air quality is expected to remain at a ‘good’ level nationwide.
