South Korea wins silver in Asian Games mixed team shooting

South Korean shooters Ban Hyo-jin and Park Ha-jun secured a silver medal in the 10-meter air rifle mixed team event at the Asian Games. The duo finished with a total of 502.9 points at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery in Toyota, Japan.

China's Wang Zifei and Sheng Lihao claimed the gold medal, setting a new world record with 507.1 points. Japan earned the bronze medal with 439.7 points, while India finished in fourth place with 376.3 points.

The competition followed a multi-stage format where teams were eliminated after successive series of shots. South Korea entered the final stages trailing Japan, but Park Ha-jun secured the silver by delivering a perfect 10.9 on the final shot, overcoming a 0.8-point deficit.
