South Korean divers win multiple medals at Asian Games
South Korean divers secured multiple medals at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Tokyo. Kim Su-ji and Kim Na-hyun won silver in the women’s synchronized 3m springboard with a total score of 254.70. This marks South Korea’s first silver medal in this specific event in 24 years. The duo finished behind China’s Chen Yiwen and Chen Jia, while Malaysia took the bronze.
In individual events, Kim Su-ji earned a bronze medal in the women’s 1m springboard, marking her third consecutive Asian Games bronze in that discipline. Additionally, Kim Yeong-nam claimed silver in the men’s 1m springboard, scoring 373.30 points and preventing a Chinese 1-2 finish in the event. Kim Na-hyun also contributed to the nation's medal count with a bronze in the women’s synchronized 10m platform earlier in the competition.
