South Korean carriers launch iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders

South Korean telecommunications providers SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus have begun pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max series, with official sales starting on the 18th. The carriers are offering various incentives, including trade-in programs, installment plans, and AI-related benefits to attract customers.

LG Uplus is also preparing for the launch of the ‘iPhone Duo’, Apple’s first foldable smartphone, which is scheduled for pre-orders on October 16 and sales on October 23. The device features a 7.6-inch internal display and a 5.4-inch external display, supported by the A20 Pro chip and Apple Intelligence.

In the financial sector, Lotte Card has opened an Apple brand관 within its ‘Thing Shop’ shopping mall. Through a partnership with premium reseller iStore, Lotte Card is facilitating pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro series, offering interest-free installment options of up to 36 months for customers using Lotte Card.
