South Korean cheerleaders dominate Taiwan popularity rankings
Recent popularity rankings for cheerleaders in Taiwan highlight a significant trend toward South Korean talent dominating the market. According to the latest statistics from ‘Internet Temperature Gauge’, eight of the top ten most popular cheerleaders are of South Korean origin, with only two being Taiwanese.
Lee Da-hye holds the top position, boasting over 2 million Instagram followers and more than 20 brand endorsements. Her influence extends beyond the stadium into live streaming and public welfare, recently demonstrated by her hosting a large-scale banquet for 200 fans.
Fubon Angels members Lee Ju-eun and Lee Ah-young follow in second and third place, respectively. Lee Ju-eun, often referred to as the ‘AI Goddess’, has shown significant commercial success on live streaming platforms, while Lee Ah-young has expanded her career into variety show hosting and charitable donations. The data suggests that South Korean cheerleaders have become a major force in the Taiwanese entertainment and cheerleading sectors.
