South Korean climbers excel at Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games

South Korean sport climbers achieved notable results at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan. In the women's bouldering semifinals, Chaehyun Seo advanced to the finals with a perfect score of 100 points, successfully completing all four tasks on her first attempt. She leads the field ahead of Japan's Miho Nonaka, who finished second with 99.8 points. South Korea's Heeju Noh also qualified for the finals, placing seventh.

In the men's bouldering final, Lee Do-hyun secured a silver medal, marking South Korea's first medal in the sport at these games. Lee finished with 49.7 points, following a strong performance in his final three boulders after a difficult start. He finished behind Japan's Sorato Anraku, who took gold with 74.5 points, and Tomoa Narasaki, who earned bronze with 44.9 points.
