South Korean companies accelerate AI transformation (AX) strategies

South Korean organizations are accelerating their transition from digital transformation (DX) to artificial intelligence transformation (AX).

The AI Service Management Information Society (ASMI) held a seminar in Seoul to discuss corporate AX application strategies. The session featured presentations on AI governance, China's AX strategies, the economic efficiency of AI factories, and the use of agentic AI in manufacturing. Participants shared practical experiences to help companies redesign work methods and responsibility structures through AI integration.

Simultaneously, DB Group held an AI strategy report meeting to expedite its AX innovation. The group is focusing on three primary new business areas: AI data centers, AI agents, and AI solutions. Plans include constructing training and edge data centers using group-owned land and urban buildings. The group is also pursuing hardware solutions through advanced semiconductor design projects and software solutions, such as AI OCR and specialized insurance platforms.
