South Korean companies see varied stock target revisions

Several South Korean companies have seen recent adjustments to their stock price targets by major investment firms.

KB Securities lowered its price target for Studio Dragon by approximately 18% to 32,000 Won, citing weakness in the upstream content market, though it maintained a “Buy” recommendation. This follows similar downward revisions from Samsung Securities and Shinhan Securities.

NH Investment reduced its target for Krafton from 400,000 to 310,000 Won, a 22.5% decrease. While the firm maintained a “Buy” rating due to a pipeline of six new games expected in 2027, it noted that projected operating profits might fall below market expectations.

In contrast, Daol Investment maintained its price target for Orion at 180,000 Won with a “Buy” rating. The firm highlighted growth in international markets and an expanded dividend policy, despite potential headwinds from a stronger Won and rising ingredient and fuel costs.
