South Korean credit card companies offer Chuseok holiday discounts

Major South Korean credit card companies, including Samsung Card, KB Kookmin Card, and Woori Card, are expanding consumer benefits for the Chuseok holiday and the upcoming long weekend.

Samsung Card is offering discounts of up to 50% at large supermarkets and online shopping malls. Specific benefits include discounts at retailers such as E-mart, Traders, and Homeplus Express, alongside gift set promotions through its dedicated online shopping mall.

KB Kookmin Card is hosting various events, including prize drawings for travel funds and gift certificates for customers spending over 500,000 won. The company is also promoting specific products like the ‘KB YOU Prime Card’, which offers tailored discounts for grocery shopping or fuel, and the ‘KB WE All+ Card’ for high-value transactions.

Woori Card is focusing on travel benefits through its ‘Woori WON Travel’ service, providing up to 25% in discounts on hotel reservations for stays through early next month.
