Various regions across South Korea are hosting diverse cultural festivals throughout September 2026 to promote local tourism and traditional arts.

In Seoul, the ‘2026 Salam Seoul Festival’ will take place at Cheonggye Plaza on September 4, focusing on cultural exchange between Seoul and the Middle East and Asia through a ‘Silk Road’ theme. This includes an AI-integrated fashion show and musical performances. Additionally, the ‘2026 Seoul Fusion Gugak Festival’ recently concluded at Seoul Children's Grand Park, showcasing modern interpretations of traditional Korean music.
