Several new South Korean drama series are scheduled for release in September 2026, featuring prominent actors and various genres including action, comedy, and romance.

“Made in Korea Season 2” is set to premiere on September 9, 2026. Starring Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, and Woo Do Hwan, the series explores political dynamics and power struggles set in 1979, nine years after the events of the first season. The plot follows Baek Gi Tae, a high-ranking intelligence official, and former prosecutor Jang Geon-young as they navigate corruption and revenge.

Additionally, the action drama “Fifties Professional” began airing on September 1, 2026, on tvN and Vidio. The 12-episode series features veteran actors Shin Ha-kyun, Oh Jung-se, and Heo Sung-tae. The story follows three men—a former NIS elite agent, a former North Korean special agent, and a former gangster deputy commander—whose past lives resurface due to a major incident from a decade ago.
