South Korean Embassy launches writing competition for students
The South Korean Embassy in Indonesia, in collaboration with Indonesia Strategic and Defence Studies (ISDS) and Friends of Korea, has launched a national writing competition for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The contest is open to students residing in both Indonesia and South Korea.
The competition commemorates the elevation of bilateral relations between Indonesia and South Korea to a Special Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (SCSP), a milestone achieved following President Prabowo Subianto’s state visit to South Korea in April 2026. Participants are encouraged to provide creative, critical, and constructive ideas regarding the future of bilateral cooperation.
Registration is open from October 13 to November 27, 2026. The initiative is supported by the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul and aims to foster deeper discussions on the evolving relationship between the two nations through youth engagement.
