Several South Korean organizations have announced new social responsibility initiatives focusing on community welfare and environmental restoration.

Jeonnam Enterprise employees in Suncheon donated 18 million won to support children living in local childcare facilities. In the financial sector, Shinhan Financial Group has launched a forest restoration project aimed at planting approximately 20,000 trees by 2028 to recover ecosystems in wildfire-damaged areas, including Andong. Meanwhile, Woori Financial Group is providing 105,000 briquettes to 525 vulnerable households in the Seoul metropolitan area to alleviate winter heating costs.
