South Korean game companies launch Chuseok holiday updates

Major South Korean game developers are launching various updates and limited-time events to celebrate the Chuseok holiday.

Devsisters has updated ‘Cookie Run: Kingdom’ with a new episode and a new beast-grade character, while also introducing new raid content. Com2uS has added a new account-based growth system and a new dungeon to ‘Zeus: God of Pride’, alongside various login rewards and item exchange events.

Pearl Abyss is running Chuseok events in ‘Black Desert Mobile’, allowing players to collect items through missions to increase combat experience. Neowiz is hosting events across eight different PC and mobile titles, including ‘Cats & Soup’ and ‘Sluggger’, offering themed costumes and increased experience points.

NCSoft is conducting events for eight of its popular titles, including ‘Aion’, ‘Lineage 2’, and ‘Lineage M’, featuring holiday-themed monsters, special costumes, and increased drop rates for growth materials. Netmarble is also participating with events across 11 titles, providing various in-game rewards, special dungeons, and themed character skins to celebrate the holiday.
