South Korean golfer No Seung-yeol makes cut at PGA Tour Punta Cana Championship

South Korean professional No Seung‑yeol successfully made the cut at the PGA Tour Corales Punta Cana Championship in the Dominican Republic. After two rounds he posted a total of 3‑under‑par 141, placing joint‑65th and meeting the cut line.

Playing on the PGA Tour Constellation circuit, No Seung‑yeol recorded three birdies, two pars and one double‑bogey in the second round, overcoming early difficulties on holes 11, 12 and 14 to stay within the qualifying score. The event, featuring a $4 million purse, was held at the Punta Cana Resort & Club on a par‑72 course and ran concurrently with the major British Open.

The result marks No Seung‑yeol’s fourth regular‑tour appearance of the season, following a previous cut at the CJ Cup in May where he finished 18th. Fellow Korean Baek Sang‑moon, a sponsor invitee, missed the cut, finishing well behind the leaders.
