South Korean golfers qualify for PGA Tour playoffs
Three South Korean golfers—Kim Si-woo, Tom Kim, and Im Sung-jae—have qualified for the 2026 PGA Tour playoffs following the conclusion of the regular season.
Tom Kim secured his place in the playoffs after a strong performance at the Wyndham Championship, where he finished in a tie for fifth place. His recent victory at the Genesis Scottish Open and a subsequent rise in the FedExCup rankings to 26th position bolster his momentum heading into the postseason.
Kim Si-woo enters the playoffs ranked 7th in the FedExCup standings, having recorded ten top-10 finishes this season. Im Sung-jae, who faced challenges due to injury earlier in the year, also qualified with a FedExCup ranking of 53rd.
The first playoff event, the FedExCup St. Jude Championship, is scheduled to begin on the 13th at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. The tournament features a $20 million total prize pool and will include top-ranked players such as Scottie Scheffler and Cameron Young.
