South Korean healthcare firms launch AI predictive and digital twin technologies

South Korean healthcare companies are advancing AI-driven predictive and digital twin technologies to shift medical paradigms from treatment to prevention.

Rokit Healthcare announced the upcoming launch of ‘AI-Totalis 35’, an AI engine designed to predict the risk of 35 major diseases. By utilizing deep learning on 27 years of national health and nutrition survey data, the platform analyzes existing health checkup results and lifestyle surveys without requiring additional blood tests. The company plans a B2B2C model, supplying the engine to hospitals, health checkup centers, and corporate employee assistance programs. Its global roadmap includes licensing negotiations in Saudi Arabia and pursuing US public health integration through the ‘MAHA Elevate’ program.

Separately, Lacellic plans to release the ‘LACELLIC AI Digital Twin’ application in November. This service aims to manage and analyze integrated health data, including checkup results, sleep patterns, and activity levels. By utilizing digital twin technology, the app allows users to visualize changes in their health status over time rather than viewing isolated data points. Lacellic is currently conducting joint research with Kumoh National Institute of Technology to advance medical data standardization and interoperability.
